Nickname

"Who the heck are you?" Toph asked rudely to the young disabled boy.

"I'm Teo," Teo smiled brightly and sincerely to the blind earthbender, "Nice to meet you... Toph, is it?"

"Yea, nice to meet ya," Toph muttered.

"You mind if I sit here?" Teo asked again. Toph only grunted, taking that response as a no, Teo strolled next to her.

There was an awkward silence between the two.

Toph stared blankly at the night sky in front of her and Teo closed his eyes and enjoyed the wind blowing to his face. After a few moment of silence, Teo snuck a quick glance at the blind earthbender. Toph's dark black hair swayed along with the wind, revealing her face. Her translucent glossy light green eyes seemed glazed and deep in thought.

"It's windy today, isn't it?" Teo chuckled softly, Toph shifted her attention to the paraplegic boy, she seemed a bit annoyed.

"Don't be so loud, Wheelie," Toph puffed, Teo looked at her blankly.

Wheelie? Was that his nickname? He closed eyes and his lips trembled into a smile. He couldn't take it anymore, Teo laughed. Hard.

A crimson flush flared out on Toph's cheeks, "What?"

"I like it," Teo said with his eyes closed. His lips slowly growing into a smile.
